German-Nepal Friendship Association Prepares to Celebrate 35th Nepal Day in Cologne

The German-Nepal Friendship Association is set to commemorate the 35th Nepal Day in Cologne, Germany, on May 25, 2024. This year's theme, 'Desire for Change, Is It Just a Dream?' guarantees an engaging program. Ram Pratap Thapa, the President of the Association and Nepal's Honorary Consul General, disclosed the event.

The celebration will feature authentic Nepali folk dances and cultural displays. Attendees are anticipated to include professionals from diverse academic and occupational backgrounds in Germany, as well as German residents with a passion for Nepal. Conversations will focus on the influence of the Nepali population in Germany.

In partnership with the Nepal Tourism Board, the Nepali Embassy in Germany, and the Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum: Cultures of the World, the organization guarantees a comprehensive program.

Distinguished individuals such as Nepal's Ambassador to Germany, Ramkaji Khadka, members of the Maitri Sangh, and notable personalities from the fields of medicine, engineering, journalism, art, and social organizations will honor the occasion.

The event will feature presentations exploring ways to mobilize Nepalis living abroad and foreign well-wishers to contribute to Nepal's development.
