Nepal Fights Back Against Ireland

Daily News Nepal

Nepal "A" is prepared for today's third Twenty20 match in the current series against Ireland "A," even though Ireland has a commanding lead after winning the first two games.

The match, which is set to start at 1 pm at the TU Ground in Kirtipur, promises to be fiercely competitive. Despite Lokesh Bam's incredible century in the previous games, Nepal had losses.

Nepal was unable to overcome Ireland's impressive performance, losing the first game of the series by 21 runs and the second by 40 runs. Nepal could not match Ireland 'A's formidable 223 runs in 19.3 overs, managing only 201 runs in the opening encounter.

In the second match, Nepal chased a target of 225 runs but were bowled out for 184 runs in 17.5 overs.

Nepal anticipates a difficult one-day series against Ireland beginning on April 3, with more matches slated for April 5 and April 7 at the TU Cricket Ground.

Prior to the T20 series, Ireland 'A' faced Nepal's national side in a two-match Twenty20 International series, with Nepal winning both games to secure the series victory.
